Issaquah, Wash. and AUSTIN, Texas - December 3, 2001 - Applied Precision, Inc. today announced the company has signed Metron Technology (Nasdaq: MTCH) as the exclusive distributor of its flowPointTM Automated Flow Control System throughout North America. The flowPoint automated flow control system enables ultra high-resolution fluid control for a variety of accuracy-critical applications. Metron began exclusive sales representation from locations nationwide in October 2001.
By partnering with Metron Technology, Applied Precision is able to offer industrial operations throughout North America the most advanced equipment available for ultra-precision flow metering.
